Film & Theatre

Cornelia still remembers the first play adapted from one of her books. And the first day she spent at a movie set location, her stories' characters passing by.

Whether at the movie set or in the theatre - there's nothing more exciting to me than watching other artists telling my stories. I never expect them to do it the same way I did, because that's what's exciting about it: That they make me see my own story through their eyes! The way you tell a story on stage or on the screen is very different to the way you tell it on the page. It has to have its own breath, its own vision. I can't wait to see what's going to come next.
