Trust was a lie
Masons fingers ached as he felt his grip slipping. He was going to fall off to the end of his life, the rest of his friends unfortunately had fallen their sorrowful deaths. He was the last one who knows he can’t hold any longer. His heart was pounding faster and faster, every second he was sweating like an oven. Then he heard footsteps, there was his shipmate with a horrible look on his face. His shipmate started stomping on his fingers, ‘ouch!’ Mason let go and thought it was all over, when he saw a vine with seven people hanging off it, and then he quickly grabbed the vine and saw everyone else who had fallen was hanging on the vine and started climbing the vine. It was like they had never seen land before, they were so relieved. ‘Jack is not to be trusted; he set us in this trap’. Said the crew answered ‘we’ve got to be careful’.
‘What’s that?’ ‘Everyone hide!’ said Mason. ‘Who’s there’ said Mason’s shipmate. One man was lost and Mason’s shipmate found him. I’m lost do you know were Mason is’ asked Mason’s shipmate. ‘No!’ Answered the un- lucky unfortunate. Mason’s shipmate got his gun out of his pocket hiding it behind his back. Mason and the rest of the crew ran away with-out being seen. Then they heard a gunshot, 100’s of birds flew away from the trees. ‘He had a wife and a son’ said Mason. ‘He didn’t deserve to die’ said Mason. Then Mason’s shipmate shouted ‘unless you want more blood to spill you better come out of hiding sooner or later, or I will hunt you down one by one’.
