What brought you to writing?

I started telling stories early on, such as writing short texts to go with pictures. And I probably started to write more complex stories because I like to read so much.

How did you come to take part in Clara’s Prize?

My English teacher suggested that I should take part in the Clara’s Prize. When I researched it a little more I decided to submit my story ‘Martha’.

How did you like your time at Fraggina? Did you find inspiration there?

On the first day I was a little overwhelmed by not having to follow any prescribed routine, but after some time this sense of being overwhelmed shifted into creative freedom. The stunning landscape inspired me to write poems and to continue work on a larger project. The peacefulness as well as the intense conversations with the other guests moved me to try new experiments, such as wood printing, as well as writing scripts and directing.

What did you take home with you?

Besides material things such as the wood print and a photo series of the local flowers, I also took back many new ideas and thoughts. My long conservations inspired me to get involved with an international project for example.
