Draping in the wind
Written by Kate Church
She stood there draping in the wind,
The other stared and laughed,
They didn’t care, They were popular, Full of leaves,
Unlike she herself, Bear no leaves,
They always fall off in the winter,
How come the others didn’t have the same problem, she thought,
Suddenly she fell over, The others were stunned,
They didn’t know what was happening, however the girl did,
No more humiliation she thought as she closed her eyes and fell into an everlasting sleep.
