Love Poem 2.0
Written by Pashynn F.
Preface
This poem was written February 4th of 2024. It’s basically the longer and more detailed version of Love Poem 1.0. So it’s deeper, but also definitely just as cringe worthy, if not more so {quickly skimming through it again} definitely more so. Again a lot of second thoughts about sending this one out… It is an attempt at explaining a sometimes fierce, stormy, and complicated emotion with words, and I hope you like it.
Loving not loved,
And not wanted,
Though wanting,
Love, I’m not daunted.
Though somewhat worried,
And filled with some fear,
All I can think about,
Is, do you care?
Filled with so much love,
I fear I will burst,
And I am so worried,
That you think the worst.
And so I am speaking,
And want you to hear,
Because I’ve wanted so long,
For you to be near.
And all I’ve been wanting,
Is to hold you close,
But if it will ever happen,
Only God knows.
Cupid’s curved bow,
And his sharp dart;
I am filling over with love,
It pierced my heart.
And it is true,
I think of you every night,
Strong knight of mine,
Wish I could hold you tight.
So much love,
It hurts you’re not here;
I say again love,
I wish you were near.
I wish I could hold you,
And you hold me;
And the rest of the world,
Would not be.
My love for you,
No words can describe,
And all my love,
Runs deep inside.
The poem is ending,
But my love goes till,
My life is ended,
That or my will.
