Words that mean it

Print this story

Why?

I've recently written a collection of poems and I would like it if you would post them on the website. They come in a sort of. . . Book, so you can keep them together. The 'collection' is called: Words that mean it.

Why can’t I not be useless?

Why can't I be bothered?

Why can't I be a rebel?

Why can’t I be a friend?

Why can’t I act normal?

Why can’t I just be who I feel like. The person who wants to take the knife out of the drawer. . .

End it.

Sorry

One sorry.

Two sorrys.

One sorry more.

If sorry was a word.

I’d say it again.

Once more.

Gone

Friends.

There, gone

Left again

The people you prayed

That would never go

But are then gone.

‘Friends’ is not a word

Then again, it’s not a thing

It’s non - existent

To nobody but the people

Who lost it more than once.

No

They beg and I say no.

No .

Makes you forget.

No.

I said it. I mean it.

No.

That doesn’t mean I want it.

No.

No, just no.

Just one haiku

This is a haiku

Just to add more effect

I don’t know, not now.

WOW! I can't use any words to describe your poems. I couldn't write something that compete with that, even if I want... You use these words like they are some kind of toys - not complicated, but simply beautiful (I know this word is used very often and so it loses some kind of magic, but I MEAN it, really). Please excuse my mistakes, because I don't speak English very well, my mother tongue (is it used like this? I don't know...) German. Dein größter Fan (your biggest Fan), Matti

I LOVE THIS!!! So heartfelt and I especially like "If sorry was a word, I'd say it again once more", because sorry is definitely not a word, it is much more.

The first poem is so me. And also someone I made up so I can have a friend. His name is Zacharias and he doesn’t know who he is

These poems are incredible and hauntingly beautiful. I can sense a budding Emily Dickinson!

If the 3rd poem is from experience, I'm confused, because you sound like an epic person and an epic writer - why would "a friend" leave you?

This collection is beautiful and moreover, honest and heartfelt. I hope you are having a wonderful day - this set is quite sad, which makes it all the more alluring
