Freedom Questions
Written by Pashynn F.
What would you give for freedom, your home, your life? Would you really fight for it? Even more, would you fight for someone else to have it?
Could you devote your life to your freedom, and then realize that you didn’t want it for yourself? That you were really fighting for someone else all along.
Or maybe just not for the part of yourself that you thought.
Were you really fighting for yourself to be free, or were you fighting to be free so that by being free, you might help others free themselves?

Leave a commentNo I haven’t, I got a copy a little bit ago but I haven’t read it yet. I guess I have to now

Have you ever read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens? This poem would work perfectly with Sydney Carton's character. He's one of my favorite characters of all time btw.
I completely agree with you on this bit, “I'll fight to the death for the freedom of others, but I'm not patriotic as in going to the military to fight in a war. And if I were to be put in a jail for someone else to be free I'd do it.” I wrote this one evening when I was depressed. It was interesting, made a couple people sad.
Very good little snippet here P. I don't know how I'd answer this question really. I'm not very conventional when it comes to freedom. I'll fight to the death for the freedom of others, but I'm not patriotic as in going to the military to fight in a war. And if I were to be put in a jail for someone else to be free I'd do it. What are your thoughts on freedom? I think personal freedom is something I strive for the most. I think we can both agree there are things we do in life, or ways we act we'd both like to be rid of. Or maybe that's just me. Thanks for sharing, it'll have me thinking.
