Ocean

I stood there in the ocean, 
Overwhelmed by my emotions.
Waves were crashing in tonight,
All the things just weren’t right.
Thoughts, ideas and emotions tight together in a knot,
Crushed me down like the ocean, no strength left to make a thought.

You arrived, and chaos eased.
Crowded cities, neon lights, tons of people walking by, everything just stopped at once.
We looked at the skies, gazed at the stars and told each other pretty lies.

Then life came by, and dreams have crashed, sweet fairy tales turned to ash.
